Gotta love HOCKEY!!

Last week, we went with some friends and took the train down to the GateWay. We went to a 3D movie (Jan & I CRACKED up while the kids tried to grab the fish), hit Build-a-Bear (woo hoo) and had lunch. Then, Patrick went to help Gaylen with something at Mary & Owen's while Jan and I took the kids to the schools SKATE party. They had a blast. We had four tired kids and two worn out Moms but it was a great day!!

Gaylen & I took the kids to the hockey game on Friday! I LOVE hockey!! The elementary school sold tickets so the kids were able to see several of their friends there. It was so fun! Sadly, our team lost in overtime. (sigh) But we had a great time!!

Happy Dr. Seuss day! I love Dr. Seuss - we all love his books! I love that they were so excited for a "silly" day! It is also Dudes & Donuts day - Gaylen left work to take them to school and read. (I think the donuts helped him make that decision!!) :) I love anything that gets my kids excited about reading! Reading is one of my very favorite ways to relax - I hope to instill that in my kids!! So today - I am going to take some time to enjoy a good book - it is the least I can do in Dr. Seuss' honor. It would be unAmerican for me not to... (wink wink)
