Kerry hosted another fabulous book club!!!  She always does a great job!!  The food was amazing and the conversation(s) lively!!!  Murder on the Orient Express has never been so fun!  Thanks Kerry for a great night!!!   I can't wait until next month!

I canned peaches for the first time EVER!!!  I did 26 quarts!!!  I am so excited!!  Gaylen keeps asking "What happened to the girl I married?!?!"

Saturday was a good day.  Wyatt had his piano recital.  Way to go, Wy!!  Then, we rode with my family down the Gateway for Abby's birthday party at "Build a Bear".  The kids had a super time!!  The train ride was fun - my kids love that thing.  The party was good.   And the kids enjoyed their cupcakes after.  It was a full day and we were all beat by the end!!!

FROHLICHER GEBURTSTAG OMA!!!!

Today is my Oma's 96th birthday!  She probably won't see this post but I needed to wish her a happy day!  She is one amazing woman!  I think often of her coming to America with four kids, a new husband - not knowing the language or many people.  I marvel at her bravery and her spirit!  She is one of my heroes.  I hope, one day, I can be like her!!!  I am so proud to be her granddaughter.  Thank you Oma for the many things you have taught me - too many to list.  I love you so much!!!  I hope you have a super day!  I am sorry I am missing your party!!  Enjoy it!!

Brenna had her first day of kindergarten today!!!  She was so excited but told me on our way into her class that her tummy was fluttering.  She went right into her line and waited like a big girl.  I was so proud!!!  I can't believe how quickly the time has gone.  I am sure going to miss my little buddy during the day but I am glad she wasn't one of the kids crying and holding onto me.  And I only cried a little!! :)  It was a big day!!  Jan & I went to lunch after we dropped her off,  Thanks, Jan for helping me deal!!!
